I Just Because I'm Quiet Doesn't Mean I'm Stupid

Why is being a quiet person considered such a crime in today's society? I'm a soft spoken person and all my life people have treated me like a second class citizen. Everyone around me thinks I'm weird and unintelligent,which couldn't be further from the truth. Why are extroverts so celebrated? Just because someone is confident and talks constantly doesn't mean that they are more intelligent or better than a person who is more reserved. Some of the most successful and famous people were quiet and shy,like Albert Einstein,Bill Gates,Elvis Presley and Harrison Ford. Quiet people have skills that are underrated. We are deep thinkers,and don't make impulsive decisions. We are more observant and are great listeners. We also are very caring and loving individuals. We are just as valuable to society as extroverted people. So I think quiet people should be celebrated and not looked down upon. So anyone who thinks quiet people are mentally handicapped I only have one thing to say to that 🖕
