I School Uniform

Seeing kids near the local school, well they just look [i]so[/i] scruffy!

Boys - scuffed shoes, shirt tails hanging out, ties short and hanging loose around the neck.

Girls - skirts that look more like wide belts that look like they should be on a street corner.

Am I turning into a grumpy old woman or just jealous I could never get away with that, hmmm....

Neither. I agree, sloppy dressing is sloppy dressing and reflects the attitude of the person. At 62 though, I've seen this rational for most of my life. There is some amount of truth that if your comportment is conservatively attractive you will get more attention in the professional world. I wish this thinking could be taught. I see to much "express yourself" energy get wasted on those who are simply just to lazy to care. Or to weak to go beyond a trend.
