I Love Chickens

I have four hens, got into them unexpectedly, but soon realized that they are awesome pets. two of the girls were rescued from an egg factory, and just had to get another the other day since one died of old age, I rescued her from someone selling them for meat. they all have unique personalities and are really amazing.

I love chickens more than anything. I've grown up with them and I have a connection to them. They are so cute and friendly!!!! Haha I know I sound like a nerd but I could never see a chook hurt without crying.

I know :( I'm starting a protest with a couple of friends to advertise the sick conditions that chickens are put through in battery farms.

I had a roostercock but he was a bit aggressive my made sure he ended up in the lunch .. I miss it

i had roosters before, only one was aggressive, i still miss some of the chickens i used to have

there were a lot of interesting moments with them. one like the first rooster i had, mr. goof, would wait at the head of the driveway for me every morning when i got home from work. he'd stand there until i parked the car and say "mornin' goof" then he'd crow and i'd give him a scrap of bread of something saved from my lunch. they all had there moments
