I Actually Mean What I Say

I actually mean what I say. It seems like stating the obvious, but in this day and age, people rarely do.

People like promising you the sun and the stars. They like promising that they’ll stick around.... but when it comes down to it, they never really do. Words are empty for the most part, because people lack the conviction behind the words.

I am not one of those people. When I say something, I actually mean it. I mean it when I say that you make me immeasurably happy. I mean it when I tell you that you are special to me. I mean it when I say that I will wait for you. I mean it when I tell you that you are beautiful to me... even if it sounds like simple flattery.

This I tell you now; I am happy with every single decision that brought me to be here right now. I love you more than life itself, and I am happy that I get to share this life with you... and I actually mean it. I will always mean it.
The value behind words are too often neglected and because of this they are hard to present accurately and without inhibition. Finding someone that is able to do so is something that should be valued. I think I learned that lesson later in life, but it is a valuable one. It is something I treasure

I hope they realize it and that this isn't a case of meaningful words being tossed to the wind while the person they are meant for stares down at the ground.

I don’t believe that is the case. My words aren’t lost on him.

idk about in this day and age, it seems to me it's always been like that. People say whats expedient to get them what they want, and not many of them live up to it.

Kinda a disappointment, right?

Exactly, everything I do and say has a reason to them, false platitudes only builds mistrust.
