I Im A Single Mom

9 months ago i had a perfect little girl all this time later im still sadden that i was the onlyone to celebrate her arrival. Alone, afraid and riddled with joy. I lay in the hospital with no one beside me. Of course the doctor and the nurses but strangers who are only doing a job. As over joyed as i was i still miss somthing that never happen.

We always must try not to let ‘if only’ tarnish moments of joy. I have a friend who is my age (67) and still in mourning for the babies she was never able to carry to term.

The event was the birth of your little girl. The rest was cake icing. Rejoice and be glad.

I'm not sure what your story is, but at least you were there to welcome your daughter. 💕 It sucks you were alone for whatever reason, but try to look for the positives within that. ❤️

It may not seem like much now but since it is only the two of you all time can be dedicated to her. It pays off big dividends in the future. Being a mother is so much fun and so rewarding and you wont have missed a minute of it.

It is sad there was no family there. If that was by their choice, they are the ones who are missing out in this addition to life. Celebrate her every day.
