I Wore Hand Me Downs As A Child
I often wore handed down handed down t shirts and shorts up to my mid teens co my folks figured if there was still wear left in any item of my brothers clothing it had to be used first.

I was the oldest boy, but still wore hand me downs. They came from other families with older boys than me. There was great excitement when the boxes arrived. As far as we were concerned they were new clothes and we were pleased with them and proud of them, though they must have looked an odd assortment sometimes.
