Yes it surprised me. I was expecting a more diverse result; instead I was 46% Irish, 43% Scottish, and 11% various Scandinavian countries. I was expecting some English. Funny though it was PRECISELY how I felt about myself.

Yes you have quite a mix there! Nice that you already knew how unique you were. I knew I had Norwegian and Swedish, but found out I have Finnish ancestry too. I had thought my test would include a high percentage of Denmark instead.@JimboSaturn

@SW-User I think you need to think of your ancestry not by by country but by areas or trade routes, basically we are people of the North Atlantic. I'm sure many people had surprises with unknow siblings and a father that wasn't genetically related.

I agree with all the traveling they did centuries and now, its no wonder we are a melting pot everywhere. I found out I have a half sibling about 3 weeks ago. Still in shock.@JimboSaturn
