I Love Daffodils

I walked in the afternoon sun yesterday through banks of golden daffodils. The scent was wonderful and it took me out of myself and reminded me that Spring and better things are around the corner.

I picked six stems for Sophie. Only six, out of hundreds and hundreds of flowers. But still I feel a bit angry at myself for taking some of these flowers that belong to everyone for my own selfish purposes 🙄
