I Am Tired of Having to Explain My Pain and Need of Pain Meds

Wish the stuff my pain mgmt gave me worked. Sick of being up bc my Rheumatoid arthritis flared up something bad that I can't even move without the pain.

Had to vent bc I've been trying to sleep since 12am & pain keeping me up. Right ankle swellwd up the size of softball. Left knee cane bend and right elbow with right hand all swelled up.

Hope everyone has wonderful Friday. It's October 13. Scary

Sorry about your pain & I don't know how long you've had this. Have you looked into your diet? I really hope you get some relief sounds terrible. I sprained my foot nothing like your going through, but I know pain! not being able to sleep. I also use a 10s machine a transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation (TENS) machine is used as an alternative to painkilling medication. Google it it sure helps me!
Heres some that might help.

Two garlic pearls with 2 ounces of buttermilk is an excellent daily drink and home remedy for rheumatoid arthritis.

Ginger, long pepper and pepper – These three help to correct digestion and metabolism, hence recommended for daily usage in rheumatoid arthritis.

Barley, horse gram: Both these are very easy to adopt in diet.
Drum stick tree: fruit and leaves, being in rich in calcium & vitamin C, is highly recommended in Rheumatoid arthritis.

Bitter gourd (Bitter melon): It improves digestion, very low in calorie and good source of Vitamin B1, 2 & 3. It is a good detoxifying herb and is traditionally indicated in diet for rheumatoid arthritis.

Hot water: Hot water drinking is beneficial to improve digestion. Regular drinking of hot water helps to bring lightness to the joints and improves flexibility in Rheumatoid arthritis.

Food to avoid: While it is important to know what food is good, it is also important to know food to avoid in rheumatoid arthritis.

You should see a diet nutritionist & see if you have any allergies to certain foods. Or google foods to avoid.

Welcome, here is where I got mine, look around what ever you can afford. I've been off my foot for a month now. I sleep with it on, it is electrical current that blocks the pain. I changed my diet long time ago. You must eat foods that help remove inflammation. I hope you get better!

@OceanRoses what sucks is I've been dealing with it over 11yrs. From 2009-15 was working out daily and in the best shape of my life. Now it's so bad there's days I can get out of bed. Miss working out bc it made me feel so good. They changed my pain meds so now they don't work. Hope you have a wonderful Friday. Going to try 4o crash for a bit. I'll look you up again thanks for the tips
