I Am Tired of Having to Explain My Pain and Need of Pain Meds
How many people are in the same boat as me. I've been dealing with Rheumatoid arthritis since 2005. Unfortunately, the last few years this condition has gotten worse. I'm on strong pain meds but the DEA & CDC believe that my condition is not painful. There's is days I can't get out of bed. Cant sleep because Everytime I move it wakes me up. Not sure if anyone has been in the same shoes. Would do anything to be able to get up and go to sleep without any pain.

@SW-User I'll be honest. want to have day were I'm not in alot of pain. Went from working out daily in the bear shape of my life till now where my joints swell up. Wouldn't wish this on anyone. I'm embarrassed because I want to be that rock for that special someone but I have this crippling disease. Scared beyond belief because I'm worried if I end up in a wheelchair. People tell me to slow up & not over do it but hate to sit around. If you have any advice, I'll take anything right now

@McShay1978 I know someone who was not transgender but started taking female hormones because they were beneficial for the reuma, artrithis and MS. He is very healthy now. He lives as a woman now though because the hormones made him look like a woman. He was prepared to live as a female to lessen his pain. Very extreme case though. Don 't know if you would be prepared to do that? You would need to talk to a therapist about it first anyway and you need to make sure that there are less invasive options like surgery,... before you go the estrogen route.
@SW-User yes that would be a very extreme case for the female hormones. Love femalws and respect them a ton but not looking to become one. I know all the meds I've been on that my immune system so weak and I'm pre osteoporosis. It sucks bc I've never broken a bone but now it could happen. Just wish I could find a special female who understand my condition and willing to be there for me. Have a wonderful evening. Going to try 5o crash. Thank you for the tips. My fatherinlaw has arthritis and I've noticed that whenever he soaks his feet in warm salt water before going to sleep for 20 mins, he has no pain that night.
@McShay1978 👍 All the best.. I really hope it works for you too!! Also make sure it's the last thing you do before bed... Just step out of the water, and dry your feet and immediately cover it with your quilt/rug.
@Vivaci thank you. Hate that I swell up so damn bad. Today I couldn't move at all. Finally moving now. Just want to sleep bc it wears you down. Hope you have a wonderful Wednesday & thank you for the advice.
