I'm not a big hugger in general. On the rare occasions I do receive a hug I'm definitely not the one who initiated it. Nor was I really expecting it- so this results in three awkward types of hugs. Hug #1 - This is the most common hug I resort to....

I don't mind hugs but I hate the superficial ones. I'd rather not be hugged at all than get one of those.

First rule of hugs, make sure the hugger LIKES being hugged. I have a few friends who hate hugs and I always respect that shit. Even if they're crying. You have a no-hug promise from Barvo. Even lame-o Christian side hugs.
