I often stand in my balcony staring at the moon.

If you are not thinking something, it's a kind of meditation..

The moon is not reliable. It changes positions in the sky and sometimes you can't see it at all at a given time and place. It's beautiful though.

I watch the ducks.

Different things. But if it's a dark night and the sky's clear and I am feeling down, I look at the stars for a while before being impressed with my ability to look at the past and future simultaneously.

I watch the moon through my bedroom window. The stars, The airplanes coming in for a landing. I watch the buses stop and go. I listen to people on the street.
I hide in my room.

Sometimes Ill take a shower or bath to like reset. Maybe put on some music or write in my journal. Write a poem to make myself feel better.. Talk to a friend if there's one around..

I either crawl in my bed with the blankets up tight or I walk in the woods in the bright moonlight.
