I Have Frequent Precognition Dreams
I don't know if this falls in category of precognitive dreams or not but it was close and extremely weird. Out of all the things I could have majored in at college, I chose music. I really didn't know what I wanted to be when I grew up - still don't for that matter. In HS I was one of the best players in our band plus a 4 year drum major, so thought music was my thing. I loved studying it but decided being a HS band director wasn't for me and ended up in B2B sales for over 35 years.
Anyway, as a music major at the university I attended, 4 semesters of piano was mandatory. I wasn't too terribly good at the instrument however. I was able to plunk out church hymns or slower moving easy pieces with lots of practice. Also, thinking I'd likely study music at college, I tried to get a running start by taking private piano lessons my Jr/Sr year of HS. Again, I wasn't that good.
One night while over Christmas break I had a dream very late into my sleep cycle that I was composing a piano concerto in G Major. I woke up, looked at the clock and saw it was nearly 8 AM. I raced to the piano and started to play the piece G major, the same one had just dreamed about in my sleep. I was a Sophomore at the time, had very little if any original composition skills to go with my minimal/basic piano skills. I hadn't even taken Orchestration and was only into my 3 semester of Music Theory. Within 10-15 seconds the piece and ability to play it dissipated, left me completely. It was gone, period. I've never had a dream like that again.
