How to spot someone who is a fake like [removed by staff]?
Ask them to send you a picture. And when they don't respond and instead they block you, then they're fake.[image removed by staff]

I don't get how not being willing to share a picture makes someone a fake. Am I missing something here? Asking for a picture from someone, and when they decline and get annoyed in your request, does not make them a fake.

@Bubbles After three days of talking, then saying nothing when I asked for a picture, then blocking me after I asked what happened the next day is proof she's a fake.

@Bubbles Your opinion isn't relevant here. What's important is that someone who is a real person would take the time to explain herself, not block people simply because they asked what was wrong. You weren't even in the conversation so you really can't disagree with something when you weren't there, but this girl was a fake. You can reply to me by dismissing my experience and say I'm wrong, but it won't matter because you were not there.

Fake profiles are an issue. Here is another fake account that always posts on here. tallblondepowerhousechikc promptly blocked me after I dropped the following link:

Oh wow, I was going to say something entirely different but... She/he contacted me too. She seemed odd but that is not unusual as a lot of user on EP have emotional/mental issues. It was also in EP's statement that they wanted to respect peoples anonymity.

I assume anyone contacting me has the potential to be fake. But she never asked for anything. So no harm if she is. Some people are fake and sometimes some people are just weird/different.

@CanadianGentleman1976 I didn't really get the impression she was fake. Even looking back through our conversation. Who knows whether I've been catfished or not in the past. But I feel if I can enjoy talking to someone than who cares whether it's a fake person.

We all have sides to us that we show to different people. As long as they are not scammers I doesn't bother me. I'm sure if I got emotionally connected that would be a different story.

@Vivaci She is when she blocks me out of the blue after talking during three days. That's how long I waited to ask for a second picture. She was a fake.

Its pretty easy to spot fakes here but just because they wont send you a pic of them is not a reason they are fake

@CanadianGentleman1976 Still wouldnt convince me, any picture can be reversed search if you think its fake, it would be easy to freak anyone out when you start askin for alot of pics, probably why she blocked ya
