I Am Starting Over

Almost The Same As I Was In College... Had a house, cars, land, and was working it well. Then the divorce happened, I walked away from it all and took a good share of the credit card debt with me, leaving the house note and a note from a previous house that wasn't on the title to her. Was I scared? Oh yea.. Man of my age having to just take his clothes and a few possessions and just start over?? No where to live, thought I might have to live in my storage unit or my truck for a while.

Events worked out so that I had a place to be, had a job, had something to eat, and now with a lot of work, the debt is almost paid off. It feels like the Phoenix must starting over, things are so very much better than they were before. Scary? Yea but there is something that I have always believed....

Starting over gets scarier every time it happens but it does happen and things get better for it.

MT, you're a kind , giving soul. Your friends would have found a way to help you out if you ever found yourself to become destitute. You were very generous in your divorce settlement. You understood it was all just "stuff". You saw the bigger picture that in the end you wanted to make sure your kids had a home and everything else they needed. We've known each other a long time now. This is the happiest I've ever seen you. The journey that you had to take was a wretched one and as expected you rose to the occasion, took charge and kicked ass. Thats what separates the boys from the men. I know its still a struggle to balance being a father and a boyfriend who is traveling all the time but I know you. You will try your darnest to make it all work. Expect nothing but good things from here on forward my dear friend. :)

Mahal - We have been friends for a long time and I am forever grateful to you for being there on a few nights when things got to be the darkest. I expect the same out of you my friend to be able to have your happiness and have great things coming from you. Know that we each have our separate struggles but think that you will find the person that fits you perfectly and you will be happy too.
