Raisins are evil

@SW-User It is so delicious that a 13-year old boy asks for it often. I have to keep golden raisins in my pantry to have on hand to make it. I also make saffron rice to go with it.

@SW-User We make sardines that way here in Venice. Onions, vinegar, raisins, pine nuts, and I don't remember what else because I never make them, only buy them.

@SW-User It would have to be gluten free bread and I don’t make it often especially in warmer months.

@Elessar What I love about the Italian cuisine in particular is the simplicity yet the combinations are often so perfect ~

@SW-User I believe this tajine originated from the Persians, they love to mix a single fruit with many of their main dishes.

@cherokeepatti I think rice is a very good alternative as well ~ though I never had this particular tajine with rice ~

@SW-User I use long-grain basmati rice to make saffron rice. It’s a really great flavor combination.
