Well of course, being conquered by the very Catholic Spanish pretty much guarantees that. Is there any other sizable religious group there, at all?

I don't know. I know their some Muslims in Latin America did you know Shakira is half Lebanese I don't know if it's true but she has Lebanese blood in father side I think first name Muslim

@Mariocrespo8546: sure, there've long been small Arab (and Jewish) groups in all the Latino countries, as far as I know dating back to the Liberation Wars & the Ottoman Turks sending small merchant groups to the liberated countries.

Small pic, hard to tell, but I wouldn't have called you particularly Arab-looking, much more Latino/creole... of course given that a huge chunk of the Spanish population descends from Tuareg & Arabs from a thousand years ago, kind of blurs any distinctions.

Yes - from what I can see, your face doesn't show any real signs of Indios blood. In fact you kind of look like the guy we rented an apartment from, in Malaga 10 years ago
