I Had a Long Day
Not just long, but frustrating. It took me five hours to make a pattern for a woman who is large and oddly shaped. Normally, I have no problems making patterns for people like her, but today it just didn't want to cooperate. Normally patterns take me just under an hour to complete, they are simple and I'm on a roll, step by step, with no agitations. Today has been total opposite. I've had to leave the drafting several times when something didn't look or work right. When I see something wrong or need to change something, I use a red pencil. When I need to change something a second time, I use a blue pencil. This time there are many red AND blue marks. I'm worn out and my brain is fried.
