I Had a Long Day
It's so nice to have the place quiet and to myself for a while.
Roommate's family came and it was a zoo. They were rather hurried about things at least but there was one woman that I kept hearing through the door and walls, being obnoxious and just plain rude. The whole time yelling at the other people and ordering them around, stopping long enough to scream how it's bullshit. Saying how it's because her niece is black and racist and all that.
.....as if.
Took almost 5 hours before they were done and gone.
So now it's just me and a new friend is moving in in a couple days from down the hall so yay! I felt so good I actually went out in the cold a bit and had dinner at the hotel I used before housing opened up.
I just finally feel so much lighter now even if still nervous over the semester's start.
