I Want To Share With You The Many Ways My Husband Irritates Me
Laundry Logic, Or Lack There Of... His definition of what clothes are clean and what clothes are dirty is asinine! He wears clothes for a day, but they are not dirty, so he drapes them on the foot of the bed so that he can wear them again. He does not hang the clothes up, because he has already worn them and can’t hang them up with the clean clothes. We have over-sized furniture and a small bedroom, in order to be able to walk around in our room, we had to put our bed up against the wall. This positioning gives us one entrance onto our bed… his side of the bed. This would not be that big of a problem, if I were able to climb in at his feet. However, this is the place that he picks to lay out the clothes he wears that he deems clean enough not to go into the laundry, yet too dirty to be hung up with the clean clothes. There, they hang out in laundry purgatory, blocking my entrance onto my bed. I have a laundry basket in the bedroom, but he insists on leaving his dirty clothes NEXT to it on the floor, as if it is too difficult for him to lift the lid to the laundry basket and put them inside! My guess is that he doesn’t want to make the toilet seat jealous, since he never lifts that up either! What makes his laundry logic so utterly ridiculous is his contradictory philosophy on suitcase clothes. He believes that once an article of clothing enters a suitcase, it cannot come home and be clean. Once his clothes have been in a suitcase with any dirty clothes, even if the dirty clothes are in a separate, airtight bag… they instantly become dirty as well! And men say that women don’t make any sense…
