I Believe It's Still a Man's Place to Lead

"Contrary to Popular Opinion"

It's a man's job to lead and a woman's job to follow and support. Men should be taught, encouraged and brought up to be leaders. It is a man's place to lead, especially in relationships. Women can be intelligent, capable and effective leaders. However, instead of stepping out front and taking over they can better use their skills and talents to help, support and assist the men in their lives to lead even more effectively. There has to be a leader, someone has to decide and it is a man's place to do so.

You always have these views but you never really say why you believe in them. It's like you're just repeating what has been drilled into your mind... wait a minute, I guess that kind of supports your post. Women should just follow what they're told 😂

I believe as I do because I have given it a lot of thought, considered other view points and then decided what my beliefs would be. I chose to follow, that does not make me stupid nor weak.

It is stupid to do that; to believe because one was told to and without any investigation. It makes your stance less valid and weaker than those which are back up by actual rationalizations. You are only making statements.

But it says little about who you are . Even seemingly intelligent people do stupid things.

Yes, exactly what I was saying to acrobaleno. Beliefs, morals and values should be questioned and thought out as opposed to taken at face value and regurgitated.

I tend to avoid general conclusions. Many relationships in which the female is dominant are healthy and successful.

But I prefer one where we are on equal grounds. And for me to be submissive, the man has to earn that by my earning my heart. Or accept my wild nature as I accept his.

In other fields, if a man wishes me to follow, he has to prove himself as more competent than I am. Otherwise, it's just wishful thinking.

As long as it works for you I am all for it.
