I get that on here. I’ve been chatting to loads of people on here but then no replies or anything. Maybe I was emailing them too much, idk

One more way of getting this right: Choose your audience based on what you have seen in their profile, and matching your interests with them.
Write something which probably prompts them to acknowledge your message.
Sometime its also a good idea to first check if the folks are active here. If they are, check what are their Qs or responses. You may want to connect with them there. Because many may prefer not to be on pm.
