I Believe Love Doesn't Have An Age

I do to a degree. Consenting adults is an absolute must at the very least.
It's true, I think. But as the age difference increases, you do begin to find more and more strain on the relationship due to simple differences in experiences.
@RainBisou: "Remember the Vietnam war? All the protests..."
"Not really."
"Remember Watergate? Talk about tense times!"
"Water what?"
"How about that Lady Gaga! *sigh*"

@Oosure: lol right..conversations would be difficult, I think some people enter in purely on physical attraction which is great but the whole relationship cant be balanced on just that, in my view.
@RainBisou: Nope, and to be fair, as time goes along you develop commonality and shared interests...but it takes effort and sometimes the fun just isn't there when you wish it was.

I go back and forth on this and just recently chatted about it with a friend. I think the important thing is that both people need to be in the same phase in life in order for it to work.

True love, admiration, attraction.. things that are key for a relationship.. shouldn't have boundaries such as age (within reason).

Even when ages are close it doesn't necessarily mean you have the same hopes dreams and desires and life experiences....
