Do white people eat healthier in general?

mljenkins · 51-55, F
I think people who can afford to eat healthier do so, color has nothing to do with it, in my opinion

@mljenkins: I think/hope he meant in a geographical way hence my answer

It is not a matter of race. It is about socioeconomic development, education and health awareness.

I think Asians eat healthier in general

I'd say much worse. Asian countries with a coastline tend to have the healthiest food. Or used to. The McDonaldsisation of the world continues apace.

@GlassDog: true. Especially Japan. But the Mediterranean diet (Italy for example) is also pretty healthy

@RiffRaf: That's true. Although I was speaking to someone here from Japan and she was saying things are changing. It's sad. I'd agree on Mediterranean diet. Well, apart from those amazing Italian desserts!

I don't think colour is a factor, it's. Personal choice..
Primnproper · 56-60, F
@RiffRaf: how's that it's our choices what we put into our bodies..
RiffRaf · 36-40, C
@Primnproper: depends. If you are born in an average African country your choice is limited. If you are born in an Asian country (for example) your choice is biased by the culture and the (food)culture is created by what is living and growing there, like mostly fish. So this is just geographical rules..
Then you also have to look at where people are on the social ladder and how they financial are, because healthy food is mostly more expensive. Plus wealthier people tend to have better education (health awareness), etc

@Primnproper: OMG, sorry for this long message!!
