In the news last night, Moderna vaccinated patients at only one hospital so far, Mass General in Boston, are experiencing large red rashes at the

injection sight. The rashes occured about 8 to 10 days after the second shot. The rashes are VERY bright red...almost reddish purple in some cases, and have also appeared on elbows and nearby parts of the body.

I received the second Moderna shot here in my hometown in Massachusetts, not at Mass General, and the entire area is hot and swollen. It's no longer painful unless I press on the area.

Any other state or country have the Moderna vaccine? Any other state showing the red rash symptom?

I am in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. I received my first Moderna vaccine two weeks ago. I experienced no discomfort or "after effects." I am scheduled for my second injection two weeks from today.

@Byron8by7 I haven't heard about any other rashes occurring anywhere except at Mass General in Boston, and it appears there were a lot of them...at least a dozen photos shown.

After my first shot, I felt hot right away, and felt a little panicky, but I expected a reaction the next day and felt mostly fatigue, and I got very cold and had to go to bed to cover up. I didn't take my temperature, but I don't usually get cold like that. It took almost 2 weeks for my arm to stop being sore at the injection site.

This time, after the second shot, I was expecting to be ill, but other than being cranky and very crabby...(normal...🤣)...and the increasing swelling at the injection site, no reaction at all.

I will check back in if I get a rash a week from now.

@4meAndyou A friend of mine got the Moderna about a month ago; after her second injection, she was laid up for a couple of days - body ache,alternating hot flashes and chills, fatigue, and general dysphoria.

UpDate: 10 days after 2nd shot of Moderna vaccine for me, no rashes and the only side effect so far seems to be fatigue. LOTS of fatigue.
