A few fingernails have changed color (grayish) and some weird vertical grooves have developed. Along with that the skin around my nails is tearing, so

I'm under the impression that I have a vitamin deficiency of some kind. What kinds of vitamin deficiencies are related to fingers/fingernails?

if you google your own question there are plenty of resources willing to tell you how you all sorts of terrible things. You could go see your doctor if you are truly concerned though. Assuming your doctor does not google answers to things in front of you like mine does.
