Would You Use CRISPR Gene Editing?

If I could find a gene which would indicate predisposition for a disease/condition, I'd repair it, but I'm fine for now. Maybe I'd turn my recessive gene for the β-chain of haemoglobin into the dominant one, not that it bothers me, but I can't donate blood due to my constantly low hematocrit.

I'd have to know more about this before being able to determine anything.
