Have you ever had part of your tongue go numb for no apparent reason?

Such a weird feeling! Just one small spot in the middle toward the back...just out of the blue, no feeling at all 😳

No. I always had a reason.

@UckfayOuyayOotay eat anything spicy or too hot temp wise lately?

@Peaceful Nope! Had breakfast this morning, just drank water all day. Then I started feeling just a bit off, like a sinus infection or something, so I came home. I felt my pulse was up so I did a blood pressure reading and while the cuff was deflating my tongue just suddenly went numb 🤷‍♂️

@UckfayOuyayOotay take some vitamin C and some garlic to boost your immune system and keep at it until symptoms subside.

Might be an allergic reaction. What did you eat
UckfayOuyayOotay · 46-50, M
@Butterflykisses24 This morning I had grilled salmon, scrambled eggs and some veggies...nothing I haven't eaten a hundred times or more before. Other than that just some cashews on the way home, but again that's a pretty normal snack for me 🤷‍♂️

It has gone numb before but for very apparent reasons.
Sounds like it'll need to be amputated.

Think back on what you have eaten recently. That is most likely the cause.
