@DarkSideoftheMoon Is it helping?
DarkSideoftheMoon · 31-35, F
@SW-User yea a lot
SW-User
@DarkSideoftheMoon I should maybe warm up to ideas my doctor gave me? You work shift work?
KioCo · M
from what I know it's possible, just depends on how autistic one is.... Although I might well be wrong
KioCo · M
@HermannFegelein To be honest dude, I think autism is something a bit too complex for a self diagnosis.

What symptoms are you referring to?
HermannFegelein · 26-30, M
@KioCo that's true. I find it strange to make eye contact with people. I'm pretty sure this is just extreme fear of being judged negatively. I also have a hard time speaking fluently yet I know how to speak English. I'm just super focused on my thoughts often or whatever work I'm performing at work or school. Like you said its probably insulting for me to say I am autistic seeing how it's hard to self diagnose.
KioCo · M
@HermannFegelein yea, I'm pretty sure there are a whole lot of psychological issues that cause similar symptoms, I recommend you got have yourself tested

Yes, it will depend on how you are and how your parents let you (even if they knew themselves). I really don't know, but I think one can be more capable of the feeling I sometimes see on SW.

I wasn’t diagnosed until seventh or eighth grade, which is actually still early for girls.
KioCo · M
@ScrewThisImDone What got them to think it was autism?
ScrewThisImDone · 26-30, F
I have no idea, honestly. They thought I was "borderline ADHD" up until that point, though I've never been hyper in my life.@KioCo
Ryannnnnn · 31-35, M
I've thought that before but i was too in touch with my emotions as a young'un and had a very chaotic upbringing so too many factors.

Everyone is autistic to some degree or another I’m sure there was a study on that or maybe just made it up
Viper · M
Well if no one ever tells you, then you may never know
Everyone’s on the spectrum
