Health question

Just a random health question has anyone ever experienced this or know what could cause it? I have recently been having episodes where I will see like random light flashes and what kinda looks like the black and white static you would see on a tv in front of my eyes i have good vision never have had any issues with my vision what else could cause that?
I have hypertension and get those regularly. Doctor calls them occular migraines due to high blood pressure.
@PrivateHell thank you I will have to ask about that when I go to doctor

Migraines, blood pressure, and a plethora of other things. Go to the doctor for a better diagnosis.

There is this thing called vitreous syneresis. It's age related and it happens to normal healthy individuals because of decrease collagen and hyaluronic acid production in the eye. It causes flashing of lights and black floaters which is exactly what you said you were experiencing. It doesnt affect vision but you still have to consult your ophthalmologist..☺
@SW-User thank you

I wish I knew! I’ve been seeing that in a mild form since I was a kid. It’s more pronounced when I look at light solid color things, especially the clear blue sky, but always there. When I was a kid I honestly thought I could see the air 😂
@Zaphod42 yea it's just weird I have no pain or anything just get disoriented sometimes cause when it happens in like why the hell am I seeing something that shouldn't be here

Do you get migraines

@SW-User "Eye" think you are right about seeing the eye doctor. Mine told me I had diabetes and I had been checked over and over by the general practitioners and they had no clue. And I think the neurological disease is called Snow Syndrome.

@Fungirlmmm I think you're right. It is snow syndrome.
I'd advice you to visit and eye specialist ASAP. Get your retina examined by a doctor and have a complete checkup.

i'd say that definitely warrants a doctors visit... could be as small as migraines and as big as a brain tumor

@Shayla I'm not sure I have no pain or anything it just flashes in front of my eyes like light and static looking then goes away it just happens randomly
