Interesting topic, I have just purchased an enema kit after doing some "internet" research. I am doing this to detoix health reasons. One of the pages I did find was encouraging women to have an emena prior to birthing for clean/removal of any bacteria at birthing which makes sense to me, however, I am a guy, so not sure if that is even a concern

Once saw a comment from a woman who in the 60s had children...she said when she was given enemas, as she put it: They were the 3 "H's" "High, Hot and a Hell of a lot!"

I would suggest warm and small. Enemas late in pregnancy may induce contractions so don't overdo it.
