Dogs are loyal to humans, so why can't people be loyal to their partners. Only animals "cheat" on each other, but that's because it's their mating habit, humans shouldn't be like that
@Fungirlmmm yep. it’s a basic biological instinct. Doesn’t exonerate antisocial or non acceptable behaviour necessarily but does explain (in parts human behaviour)
@MrBlueGuy True, dogs are only loyal if they know you are kind and respectful, like how partners earn the respect of each other but then go on to betray the trust
@lizzy96 Yes exactly. So if one partner begins to be abusive the other partner may look for affection from somewhere else. Now that's not in every circumstance some people are just assholes that can't stay loyal but if using the parable of a dog to relate to human relationships it would be that.
@MrBlueGuy But in an abusive relationship it would be worse to cheat, I mean there going to end up dead if they cheat,I mean they would end up dead if they left, but still no reason to cheat

Ya can't really compare dogs to humans. An if it's just biology passing on DNA what about all the gays an lesbians. I don't buy it
I read an interview once, a quite well known author who was asked about his divorce and he said the following (its not a literal quote since I read it years ago): If you are in a happy and stable relationship and you see another beautiful woman, then you secretly might admire her but you are not available. If you live in an unstable relationship and you see a beautiful woman, then you are available.
