So many miles and minutes away. I understand the value of anticipation but am struck with the absurd notion that I must wait. You are surrounded by love and that makes me smile but the fragile nature of life so young in one so tiny makes me worry.

Alas, little lady, you own a piece of my heart. My prayers suffice for now but holding you will change my soul.
