I Like Serene and Quiet Places
Buddhist Monastery... There is a Buddhist monastery a few kilometers away from where I live. I decided to go visit it one day. I am not a Buddhist, nor have I ever been, but that doesn't mean that I can't visit a monastery to learn more about them.
It is one of the most serene and quiet places I've been in my life. The calm of the place overwhelmed me as soon as I set foot out of the car, and it was amazing. I walked around admiring the architecture for a while, and then sat down for a cup of green tea.
I tried to soak up as much of the serenity and tranquility of the place while I was there, and then I moved on. I haven't been back to visit the monastery since, but I will always remember the overwhelming serenity and quiet of the place.
