I Wish You Were Here

Because this 2-dimensional picture of what I saw when I walked out of my office this evening just doesn't cut it.

I've become captivated by my surroundings. It's odd. I see something, become awestruck, snap a pic and when I go back into my phone, the image is there, but the astonishment is a memory.

Wish I could tell you how beautiful this moment was 🙂

I completely understand. I love watching clouds, especially when a storm is offshore or the sun is lighting them up like here. But the picture never looks anything like the real thing. I've stopped bothering to take the pics because they are always a disappointment.

As nice as this pic is, I'm sure the reality of the moment was a hundreds times better. Thanks for sharing.

Exactly! Thank you. The biggest disappointment is that there stinkin' moon 😕 It never comes out right.

@Brooksy: I'm sure there are people who know how to do the sky justice in a pic; I'm not one of them so for now I will simply sit back and create memories.
