I Am Home-schooled

I'm not but my kids are. I found out the local school doesn't take the students safety or education seriously enough so I pulled my kids out of the school. Normally I have no problem with public schools, but after what I found out about the school my kids were attending and what goes on there, I'll be dammed if they will ever walk through that door again. My oldest boy got his hunting license for the first time this year and I was shocked to find out that not only did he not know how to sign his name, he had never been taught cursive writing and that his reading was several grades behind. I had never been told, or seen any of his class work. I was just told everything was "ok". I get that it's a small school with less then 75 kids and very little state funding, but seriously?

Anyway, my kids are home schooled now and will be until I can get them out of the school district.
