I Am a Timid Person

Really Timid... I think I am really timid because people tell me that a lot and it scares me. Every Saturday I go to this program and we explain different topics. It is extremely hard for me to talk to other people especially the people in my group. One time I tried to talk to this really nice guy who was talkative but I failed. Also I HATE being in the middle of the room where I can be seen. I usually hide under tables or in corners or behind things. I have never answered one question in the whole group. Should I tell somebody about this or should I keep it to my self?:S

I am the exact way but i feel like im getting slightly better at socializing because i felt like i needed to find someone to help me feel more comfortable. Talk to someone about it. Someone who makes u comfortable speaking with. They will understand and hopefully make u feel better and comfortable since u wont feel like ur surrounded by strangers but by people who understand you are timid. You dont need to impress anyone just be yourself and if you are timid is ok just take ur tine and slowly do the talking, no rush(:
