I Love Putting On Lipstick

@ReneeT I personally prefer the matte look as long as the lips are moist but to each his own. Cool earrings too.

@katielass I haven't quite settled on what lipstick looks best but it is fun trying a few different ones. They are my favorite earrings. What is your favorite lipstick color?

@ReneeT Oh yeah, I like to try different ones too. The one I wear now is Kate's and I can't see the name of the colour but it's more pinkish. I bought it at Ulta. # 17 if that helps.

@katielass It does. I have an account at a local Ulta so I will stop in and have a look.

@ReneeT cool. Yo might like it. I like the brand, it seems to stay and doesn't cost $20.

@katielass Very nice. I may need to pick up a few colors. I do love pink and red also.

@ReneeT You could wear red well with your skin tone. But I'd recommend silver earrings when wearing red. It seems to look better to me.

@katielass Thanks for that Katielass. I do need to pick up a little more jewelry. I just had one pair or earrings break so I'll see if I can find some nice silver ones.

@katielass One quick question. I think I have my foundation matched pretty well to my skin tone, but how do you usually match yours?

@ReneeT Well, I use Bare Minerals and it's a powder that's not like a powder and I use sunscreen light. My face is lighter tha my hads or arm s i am pretty god about keeping my face out of the sun. If you use a liquid makeup you can either put a dab on your hand or arm, and blend it in to see or just dab a tiny bit on your cheek and feather it out. From your pic it looks like you have a good match, it looks natural but you can also go one shade darker. You could try that and see which you like better.

@katielass Thanks again Katielass. I thought that one matched up well but I will look for one just a shade darker to see how that looks. Especially now. My face is not in the sun much but it is a little darker now. I will look for it the next visit to Ulta

@katielass On my way to Ulta this week. I am going to look at the Kate's lipstick and see if the powder or liquid foundation would work better for me. I'll let you know

@ReneeT 👍 I like the Bare Essentials but I've been wanting to try the iT line. It looks like it gives great coverage but doesn't settle into any lines. I have a wrinkle between my eyes that bugs me.

@katielass I wonder if the stores have more selection than the Ulta online store. I looked for the Kate Lipstick but they didn't have it listed. Going to the store this week

@ReneeT They don't have it? I just accidently saw it at Walmart and bought a few more as backups. I'm always afraid something I really like will be discontinued. lol check at Walmart.

@ReneeT Yeah, better chance of finding it. It's going to be on the aisle where the less known brands are on. At least that's where it was in my Walmart.
