Good one, I am not religious in the slightest and feel sorry for those who push their beliefs on others.
There are hundreds of religions in the world, each and every one thinks they have the true god. When are these people going to realise it's simply a matter of where you are born that dictates what you believe.

@onlythemessenger: Stephen Fry describes his belief (Atheism) in similar terms, talking to a Christian he said, there are over 800 gods currently being worshipped on the Earth today but you only believe in one of them. I believe in one less then you so we are very similar really.

@GeniUs: I have watched many discussions on YouTube by Richard Dawkins, Stephen Fry and the late Christopher Hitchens they all make perfect sense to me. Thankfully I was raised to find my own path, not dictated to by any outdated beliefs.

I caught up quite a lot later, I was brought up Christian and there were a lot of clever people at the church, I couldn't believe they were all wrong. One day I woke up and as clear as day it didn't make sense anymore, the more I see of religion the more I see, some good people but a lot of people using it for their own selfish aims.

@GeniUs: Yes it is surprising how many clever people believe in creation above evolution. This only shows how a single belief can overpower common sense. I never argue with religious people even when they try to preach, it's a complete waste of time
they are always right. As for the church I think they are among the richest organisations in the world and always have been.

Yes the irony of it, saying we need to donate to help each other and the CofE, Catholic church etc sat on mountains of cash.

@GeniUs: Ah technology is a great thing that has "evolved" pun intended. I just googled the church of England finances and they have billions invested. I bet they all have.
