I don't see it as something to get angry about but the discussions always end up the same way once they are cornered, they (who are supposed to be the understanding and kind etc) become offensive! If non believers, who haven't got god protecting us can manage to stay civil why can't religious people?

@TheSaint: I agree with that, it's a power point (for want of a better phrase), I think if applied correctly religion can be a force for good but very, very, few people adhere to religion as it is advertised.
