I heard this wonderful conversation.
Priest: God's love is greater than mother's love.
Man: okay, so what does God do if I don't listen to him?
Priest: God will sent you to hell you'll burn there.
Man: well, my mother doesn't do that. 😂😂😘😘

Also if you are sick or hungry your mother will help. Never got food or cures from God. But I guess I didn't pray hard enough.

That’s why the parental analogy never worked for me, unless it was portraying God as a really [b]abusive[/b] or [b]neglectful[/b] parent, who would let you starve or freeze to death, or allow your “siblings” to murder you without stepping in.
