I Work In Retail

I hate when i see a customer looking through things and when a shirt, bra etc falls, they look at it,dont pick it up, and/or kick it under racks. I bet these are the same people who complain to management about the store being junky, not realizing they are contributing.

And if every customer was perfect you'd probably loose your job as there would be nothing to do :)

@Idgaf96: you mean they'd stand in the cash register for themselves?
iamnikki · 31-35, F
@Idgaf96: theres plenty to do. Associates mess up things as well. Put items in wrong spots,miss-ticket items. Dont ticket items at all etc. But i do get your point

I think of it as job security. They would definitely cut back if there was less to do. That's not saying I am that person or even think it's ok. However coming from a retail background I always enjoyed the mundane job of organizing the shelves and picking up after customers because it allowed me to drift into my imagination and enjoy my day as I did not have to stand at a cash register and listen to the same bs from all the customers.

@Idgaf96: bs like how untidy the store was?

Bs like I deserve a discount and cards not working and screaming tantrum kids yelling at their parents.

@Idgaf96: yea i definetly prefer it over registers.

@Idgaf96: That is true as well.Bosses should give you gift cards or bonus for that
bhatjc · 46-50, M
@iamnikki: Or some one doesn't check if it's expired, and still keeps putting in on the floor

@Idgaf96: I agree with you. Would rather do go backs ,or having to stock. Then deal with customers.
