The things that customers do while you're a cashier is crazy to me. This one older lady came to check out and pulled these two small items out of her purse. I'm like, girl someone is gonna think you're stealing. 馃憖

My favorite times involved the obviously high patrons. Usually they were just forgetful and needed some help, but one was about to fight me over a nickel. That they got back and put into their pocket. Just gave them another nickel and they left. Another time was a guy walking around shirtless and filming himself while shouting. He just had to come through my lane...

I've had 2 customer service jobs in my life......at a music store and now as a part time 2nd job at Dollar General.....I now remember why I don't particularly like most people...the amazingly nice and cool people are a blessing and the general population is just not ready to be let out in public

Working retail was a love/hate thing for me. I loved helping patrons that truly needed it, but you also see the real ugly side of humanity as well.
