I Work In Retail

We are really short-staffed today. I asked the manager if I could go-to lunch as I've been working for 7 hours. Her response: " it's really not a good time".
Well can i go home?😐

It varies state by state but pretty much everywhere you're legally owed a lunch break if you work over six hours. Of course, it's not like most managers know or care about the law.
