I Hate My Mother

I now this sounds harsh but I dont like my mom that much, i do like a couple things about her as a person, and she does try and help me sometimes but she just says things mothers should never say. i dont think she realizes how harsh she is towards me and cince i dont now how she feels or what her childhood was like I dont want to be too hard on her and i feel bad for not liking her.
I just dont know how do you learn to like someone more.honestly my mom isnt even that bad she helps me she buys me things but she dosent really like me or care about me as a person, she just likes doing nice things for people, she says pretty mean things to me.
