I Love Marilyn Manson

Mechanical Animals review:

This album is what some people said that Manson "lost his touch", however, he hasn't! This is the second release of his trilogy and the second chapter of his trilogy. Mechanical Animals talks about drugs mostly, but it also discusses about being torn apart from yourself. Some great songs are: "Coma White", "Mechanical Animals", "I Don't Like The Drugs But The Drugs Like Me", "The Dope Show", "The Speed of Pain", etc. If you haven't known, the characters in this album are Omēga and Alpha. Omēga formed a band called "Mechanical Animals" and got into drugs(if you're unsure, the songs for Omēga are upbeat or fast tempo). Alpha is learning feelings and emotions in the world(slow tempo songs). In general, this is a great album. It shows Manson's softer side, but he keeps his hardcore personal. This album is like a mixture of Smells Like Children, but softer, and Born Villain. It's hard to understand what he means in the lyrics, but they mostly mean love and missing. If you enjoy inspirational lyrics or something with upbeat, Mechanical Animals is for you!
