I Want To Know The Worst Thing Anyone Has Ever Said To You

My ex-boyfriend told me (while we are in middle of the doing the "act") that I have an ugly body. He asked me why do I have an uneven skin tone. He also broke up with me on that day. It was our 2nd year together. This has affected me a lot and up to now, I hate my body. Every little single thing about me disgusts me.

You are beautiful - just the way you are. Beauty is more than physical, but... remember people do not have power over us unless we give it to them. The more you credit what he said with any sort of truth is the moment you hand your life over to him. Do not give people power over you. Everyone is beautiful in different ways, and what makes you beautiful has more to do with who you are than what you look like. Oh sure - there is traditional beauty, but I guarantee that there are people who think that you are beautiful just the way you are. I hate my freckles, stretch marks and saggy boobs. Pregnancy does a number on ones body. But I know without a doubt that my husband loves me just the way I am and thinks that I am beautiful. Even more than that, I know that I deserve respect and kindness - because I'm a HUMAN. And so do you! Your ex was a horrible person, and he said those things not because you were ugly but because he was a very ugly person. You. Are. Loved.
Thank you so much for your very lovely and uplifting words :D *hugs*
