I Wonder

I wonder if a great bunch of our knowledge just makes us dizzy and confused, and creates barriers among us. Too many concepts and ideologies often used as weapons. Too little practical knowledge in comparison with past times.

This is the knowledge that bring us together, the one that allows us to bring solutions or at least understanding.

That's why I like to talk to really elderly people irl. They have views based on there experiences and not just read views and can compare past to present. My nan says the violence and gangs was the same when she was young, doors were only left open because no one had anything worth stealing and that people were far more judgemental - things like that I find interesting. I tried to explain electricity to her once because she wondered how it worked to repay her for her giving me different insights but after 2 hours of me explaining, drawing diagrams and repeating myself she said she wished she never asked so I just clean for her haha

@Paliglass I guess for her what mattered about electricity is that it worked, not how. I like more and more that approach

Being dizzy, confused and experiencing barriers is what is normal for me, a moment of stillness, a time for reflection, of letting this settle and sink in, when self awareness is overshadowed.... ooops verging on hazy dazy poetics here.... just wanna point out here that your first sentence sums up some aspects of Berlin Alexanderplatz, .... how the modern world hits us when we've been incarcerated for a time, perhaps the modern of the now makes that experience more available for those sensitive to things, i say sensitive because i have this funny feeling that many aren't sensitive, they just rush headstrong into the problematics and well, overthinking stuff might cancel out one's proficiency in a thing for a time at least, maybe that is where one learns sensitivity. The deeper one goes the more delicate it all is. Just thoughts, thanks for sharing yours Cierzo.

Knowledge leads to arguments...wisdom leads to integration despite difference in knowledge.

@Unlearn 🤔🤔🤔. Interesting.

You're only dizzy/confused, if you choose to delve beyond your ability to understand.
