I Love Wearing Union Suits

I can't find a good summer Union suit so I made my own by cutting off the sleeves of a lighter weight one. Today's my first day in it and it's pretty great.

I see you like Unionsuits the same as I do, but can't seem to find yourself a Good Summer or Lightweight Unionsuit. My Summer or Lightweight Unionsuits are made by Indera Mills in North Carolina. They are Long Sleeve 100% Cotton Smooth Ribbed Knit and 5oz. in weight. They are really Comfortable, Feel Great and definitely work for me and I am sure they will do the same for you . I also wear one of these Unionsuits on the Bottom when Double Layering in either Unionsuits, as well as Combined Layering(Unionsuit on the Bottom and Raschel Thermal Knit 2 Piece Suit on Top). These Unionsuits can be bought online. Check it out and get even more Comfortable in Your Favorite Long Underwear.

I have a couple of vintage Union suits. From time to time I do wear them.

Vermont Country Store is selling a light weight all cotton union suit. Has anyone used it for Summer?

Have you worn these union suits all through Summer? Would the 100% cotton work better for high temps?

I have worn the above cotton/poly thermal knit union on a warm 70+ day but at the present time I am using up my white cotton/poly (JE Morgan long handles) which are no longer made. The Morgan union suit is rib knit put the knit is very porous and I find them comfortable in the upper 70s although I have removed the sleeves leaving the selvage on the body of the suit (wish a short sleeve union suit was still made). The thing with 100% cotton is it will absorb and hold perspiration.

So perhaps the poly/cotton blend is the way to go.
