I Put Up Walls

Snowbunny ... this is not advice ... just for thought ... there is often far more benefit from being trusted, than the trusting ... but once trusted, trusting becomes warmer and easier.

I was with 2 other friends today that shared some of their feelings. I realized every one of us have been hurt in ways that should have never happened. It helps to share what and who hurt you and allow others to share with you. It helps just to hear that others have been hurt too. I started trusting myself and the rest follows suit...

What if you are not putting anyone through anything. What if you are just trying to live life and be happy. What if other people are always telling you what you are doing or think they know about you and they really don't know anything at all about you...

@questonWeaver- there are definitely people in my life I do trust, just sometimes it isn't that easy. 😊

Sometimes walls are there for our protection and sometimes they are there for others protection.

I tend to put up walls too or at least feel disconnected a lot.
